Bible Prophecy: The Written Word

The first fulfilled Bible prophecy that should come to everyone's mind is the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as well as the temple that was destroyed upon his initial passing. 

Mark 13:2 "Do you see all these great buildings?" replied Jesus. "Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

Jesus was specifically referring to the temple, which crumbled upon his death. 

Matthew 27:51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.

Jesus was resurrected 3 days after his death, as foreshadowed by many places in the bible; the first of which, came 1000 years previous.

Psalm 16:10-11 because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

And after the predictions, came the verification:

Matthew 28:5-8 The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
